King Richard’s Liturgical Design & Contracting Unveils Custom Marble Altar Rail for St. Remy’s Catholic Church in Russia, Ohio
Russia, Ohio, December 2025 — King Richard’s Liturgical Design & Contracting, a national leader in liturgical furnishings and church restoration, announced the completion of a new custom wood altar rail for St. Remy’s Catholic Church in Russia, Ohio. The project fulfills the parish’s goal of adding a sacred space for kneeling and prayer.
King Richard’s crafted a beautiful and much‑needed altar rail designed to harmonize perfectly with the church’s existing sanctuary furnishing. The parish tasked the King Richard’s Team to create a piece that would integrate seamlessly into the worship space, both aesthetically and in its intended use. Each side of the new rail extends 15 feet, forming a beautifully balanced and unified focal point within the sanctuary.
Complementing the rail, the King Richard’s creation team also produced custom golden bronze gates featuring sacred imagery, including the IHS Christogram and the Lamb of God. The supporting columns were sculpted in a Roman‑style arch and finished with gold accents to echo the church’s pulpit and other architectural elements.
The project was supported locally by Michael Barone, King Richard’s Regional Sales Manager, who worked closely with parish leadership to coordinate design needs, material selections, and on‑site project logistics.
