King Richard’s Designed, Hand-Sculpted and Installed a New OuTdoor Italian Bronze Statue for Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church.

King Richard’s was honored to provide a stunning outdoor statue for Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church in Jasper, GA. The statue now graces the church’s Holy Family Garden, creating a serene space for prayer and reflection.

DESIGNING THE STATUE

Our statue designs are hand-drawn and custom crafted for client review. From concept to sketch, the design is personalized ensuring the client’s vision for the statue.

CLAY HAND CARVING OF the STATUE

The statue of the Holy Family was delicately hand-carved to form a clay model, showcasing intricate details throughout. Mary’s scroll bears an inscription of Isaiah 61:1. The client also requested the garments to have added detail to make the statue achieve a more life-like appearance.

BRONZE CASTING

The Holy Family statue was transformed into a timeless bronze masterpiece through the ancient lost-wax technique, a process that captures every delicate contour and intricate detail with remarkable precision.

DELIVERY

Upon completion, the statue was securely packaged using protective materials to safeguard its intricate details. It was then transported to Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church in Jasper, Georgia. The King Richard’s installation team handled every step of the process, from careful loading and transit.

INSTALLATION

King Richard’s Liturgical Design and Contracting team safely transported the Holy Family statue to the church’s Holy Family Garden. With great care, the statue was elevated and positioned within an open-air pergola, that displayed the outdoor statue beautifully.
