Antique Marble Altar Installed at Bar Harbor Church

King Richard’s team has successfully installed a stunning antique marble altar set in a church in Bar Harbor, Maine. The set includes a reredos, altar table of the Last Supper, and two side altars.
The team carefully transported and assembled each piece inside the sanctuary, ensuring the altar set was restored to its original grandeur. The installation began with the foundation for the reredos, followed by the placement of the reredos featuring a detailed carving of the Last Supper. Steel reinforcements were added for stability, and the upper sections of the reredos, then adorned with Gothic spires and angel statues.
Each of the side altars was distinct—one highlighted a beautiful mosaic centerpiece, while the other featured decorative spires.
With meticulous attention to detail, the team ensured that every component was securely positioned, preserving its artistic and historical integrity. Candles and smaller statues were arranged to enhance the altar’s beauty, and the final touch.
King Richard’s is honored to have contributed this remarkable historical set to the church, ensuring its legacy remains for generations to come.
