King Richard’s is dedicated to designing and creating the finest custom sacred art and furnishings for churches, parishes, religious institutions, schools and homes. Our master artists and liturgical designers go to the greatest lengths to understand precisely the look, feel and atmosphere each of our clients is seeking, and then combine their traditional sacred artistry with modern scientific methods to craft pieces of sacred art that express reverence in every component of a place of worship.

Materials
It’s not uncommon to immediately associate marble with places of worship. Marble has traditionally been used in churches and spaces of worship for thousands of years. And for good reason as marble is an exceptionally durable material, one that also incorporates beauty and due to its fine lines, and variances in color make each piece crafted from it unique. Our artisans have decades of experience in hand carving marble, producing breathtaking works of art that create a reverential atmosphere.
But we understand some clients, for a variety of reasons including cost and aesthetics, may prefer other materials. Recognizing that, our designers and artisans have exceptional experience in producing statuary and furnishings from wood, steel and other metals, and fiberglass. Each material offers specific, significant advantages, and we design and produce outstanding pieces and furnishings, regardless of material.

Styles
We recognize that each church or place of worship has its own members, history, traditions and aesthetic preferences. Our challenge is to fully understand these and combine them into art and furnishings that are a perfect expression of these preferences. We have for decades worked with a wide variety of traditions and in doing so, frequently produce pieces and furnishing in styles such as Gothic, Roman, Baroque, Contemporary, Traditional, Italian, Spanish and Modern.
There is no singular style that is “right,” or “looks like a church.” Each place of worship is unique and deserves the style that works best for it and its members.
