New 3.5 Foot Monstrance from KR Arrives in its New Home.

Project #: P-2033
Location: Gastonia, North Carolina
Project Type: Altar ware, Monstrance
Date: January 2023

In January 2023, a hand-crafted 3.5 ft tall Monstrance arrived from King Richards Liturgical Design and Contracting to its new home at St. Michaels Church in Gastonia, North Carolina. On Epiphany Sunday, Father Lucas Rossi, pastor, blessed this impressive Monstrance that was purchased from King Richards from an anonymous donor of the parish. The Monstrance was designed and created by one of King Richards loyal and talented craftsman. St. Michael’s Church considers this massive Monstrance a beautiful “enhancement” during the Eucharistic Adoration that will “draw many hearts to begin – or return to- this wonderful devotion”. The Catholic Bishops in America began a three-year eucharistic revival in 2022 which will focus on the significance of the Eucharist in the life of the church. The Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ is the source and summit of the Catholic Faith.

King Richards is proud to provide this beautiful piece to St. Michael’s and we pray the congregation will be lifted up by its presence in their church.
