Strawn, Illinois— 10/10/2024 — In September 2024, St. Rose Catholic Church in Strawn, Illinois, permanently closed, prompting the church to enlist King Richard’s for the sensitive removal of significant liturgical items. These included removals of their cherished liturgical Items. Pieces that were removed included an Altar of Sacrifice, a Side Altar, the Crucifix, Altar Rail, Baptismal Font, and Confessional.
The King Richard’s exceptional removal team’s diligent approach to safely handling items not only ensures careful disposition but also streamlines future transactions, highlighting their commitment to quality service and efficiency in the resale operation.
Other items that were removed included a Set of Stations of the Cross, two statues, a mural, candles sticks, a tabernacle, a candle stand, and sanctuary light stand. All these items were taken and preserved at King Richard’s warehouse for re-sale.
