King Richard’s team successfully delivered and installed a complete antique Altar Set in a church in Bar Harbor, Maine. The set, made entirely of marble, consisted of a reredos, an altar of sacrifice, and two side altars. The installation was an intricate and detailed process, highlighting craftsmanship and dedication to preserving historical religious artifacts.

DELIVERY AND PREPARATION

King Richard’s delivery and installation team meticulously transported the altar set in carefully wrapped and labeled pieces, ensuring each was placed appropriately within the church for assembly. The installation process began with preparing the floorboards of the reredos, laying the foundation for the intricate setup that followed.

Installation of The LAST SUPPER ALTAR TABLE

The installation of the Last Supper Altar of Sacrifice required careful placement of the Last Supper panel at the front, followed by surrounding it with the altar table’s marble components, extending from the top surface to the front columns. To ensure stability, the back of the table was reinforced with cinder blocks, providing support as the team meticulously assembled the middle and upper sections of the reredos, along with its intricate decorative elements.

Installation of The Two side Altars

The two antique marble side altars were carefully assembled on-site, each showcasing unique characteristics that demanded precise craftsmanship. While complementary in design, one altar featured a central mosaic, accentuating its artistic detail, while the other incorporated additional spires and a statue of a priest, enhancing its grandeur. A tabernacle was thoughtfully placed at the heart of the mosaic altar, reinforcing its sacred purpose. The King Richard’s installation team dedicated extra time and meticulous effort to ensure each piece was reassembled exactly as it had been originally, preserving its historical integrity.

INSTALLATION OF REREDOS

The antique marble reredos was meticulously assembled behind the altar table in the sanctuary, ensuring both safety and precision. Adorned with gothic spires and angel statues, all carved from marble, the structure exuded a sense of reverence and craftsmanship. The center of the reredos, featuring a blue and gold mosaic, harmonized beautifully with the design of the side altar. The King Richard’s installation team took great care to position and secure each piece, preserving its intricate detail and historical integrity.

COMPLETION OF INSTALLATION

The King Richard’s team executed the altar set installation with precision and care, ensuring every detail was flawlessly assembled. The marble pieces were elegantly adorned with candles and smaller statues, further enhancing the beauty of the historic figures. A tabernacle was securely positioned on the altar table, completing the sacred display.
