King Richards undertook the project of designing, creating, and installing a complete Sanctuary for St. Wenceslaus Church situated in Wahoo, NE. The Sanctuary was comprised of an altar/reredos, side altars, statuary, pedestals and a ambo.
The reredos, intricately hand-carved from wood and finished with a striking white paint and gold trim, showcases cast gothic spires that elevate its grandeur. Its main niche is designed with a gothic arch to elegantly accommodate the church’s existing tabernacle, while the matching altar of sacrifice features a stunning representation of the Last Supper, adding a profound spiritual element to the overall aesthetic of the space.
King Richard’s artists expertly crafted two custom side altars that harmoniously complement the main reredos, featuring beautifully hand-painted wooden spires adorned with white and golden trim. These altars were further enriched with unique statues of Mary and Joseph to complete the front of the sanctuary.
To finish the sanctuary, a brand new matching ambo was designed to match the main reredos as well as two statue pedestals.
The installation of the sanctuary was expertly handled by King Richard’s installation team, who meticulously hand-delivered and assembled each component of the reredos and side altars on site, ensuring a safe and intricate setup for this sacred space.
