Crafted by King Richard’s Liturgical Design and Contracting, a newly installed reredos now standS as A prominent addition to the sanctuary of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Coppell, Texas.
The reredos fabricated by King Richard’s Liturgical Design and Contracting’s amazing artisans, was crafted specifically to enrich the beauty of the sanctuary and serve as a central focal feature of the church.
REREDOS CREATION
The reredos was made from high-quality wood, carefully carved, then sealed with a white polyurethane finish and painted by our partners at Conrad Schmidt before being delivered to the church for final assembly. In addition to the main structure, a variety of ornamental components were hand‑crafted to enhance the reredos, including the fluted columns, sculpted finials crowning the upper tiers, statue niches flanking the central arch, Corinthian capitals, and the distinctive gold swags that accent the architectural lines. Together, these elements form the elegant and highly detailed backdrop that frames the crucifix, tabernacle, and devotional statues, creating a visually striking focal point for the sanctuary.
