Savannah, GA — June 2025 — King Richard’s Liturgical Design & Contracting is proud to announce the completion of a transformative sanctuary renovation at St. James the Less Catholic Church in Savannah, Georgia. The project, finalized in June 2025, reflects a harmonious blend of sacred tradition and timeless craftsmanship.

The centerpiece of the renovation is a custom-designed wooden reredos, flanked by matching side altars and two statue shrines, all meticulously crafted to elevate the church’s liturgical space. Complementary furnishings—including a presider’s chair, deacon’s chair, and kneelers—were also created to unify the sanctuary’s aesthetic and spiritual function.

A highlight of the installation is the Altar of Sacrifice, hand-carved from luminous white Carrara marble and adorned with the sacred symbols of Alpha and Omega. Delivered in carefully hewn segments, the altar was assembled on-site with precision and reverence. The King Richard’s installation team ensured each element was placed with care, allowing the altar to stand in solemn dignity—an enduring symbol of sacred purpose.

To further enrich the worship experience, King Richard’s also provided large illuminated custom frames for the church’s Stations of the Cross collection, offering parishioners a visually compelling journey through Christ’s Passion.
